Compared to what my spec SMSF portfolio looked like last July, this current sell off is pretty mild. Was down up to 47% last year until the spec rush started, then did very well.
The long time frame I have now as an investor has made such a difference to my mental attitude. My portfolio is a sea of red but almost all the ones I'm holding have a story which I like. We'll see if the market agrees, given time.
Looking more and more like the wife and I will be selling the house towards the end of this year and doing the Grey Nomad thing. Watch out for random knocks on your door!
