Earthquake story....
Was in Manila, think it was 1980....taking a break from the middle east for a few days...girlfriend at the time was working at a Makati bank - so thought I would catch a movie - so watch Apocalypse Now for the umpteenth time - only watched it about fifty times since then....extended version....simulated 3D...thru sound system etc.....
Anyway. my chair starting shaking violently and I'm thinking some dik-head was kicking it - so I got up to tell him - very bad idea....and then noticed everyone else had gotten up and was heading for the exits....so I joined them.....All settled down and ten minutes later back to the movie, and me feeding popcorn to the rats.....
