ELF Expiry Notice

Just got my email - Can anyone translate do we have to pay or not pay? I got suckered into paying half and and have a bit less than half my loan left,

EQUITY LENDING FACILITY (ELF)

Dear ELF Borrower,

We have passed the expiry of your three-year ELF Loan, which commenced on the 31^stJuly 2017, and expired on 30^thJuly 2020.

A summary of your closing ELF Loan balance at Expiry is set out below:

Loan Expiry – 30^thJuly 2020 and repayment of your ELF Loan

Given that your ELF loan matured on 30^thJuly 2020, all monies outstanding (principal, interest and fees) are due and payable to ECT Finance.

If your ELF loan was repaid prior to this date, ECT Finance will release the holding lock and PPSR charge that is held over your ECT shares and transfer them to you. The board of ECT Finance has decided that for those borrowers that had a lower principal balance at the end of the loan term compared to the start, the percentage decrease will be applied to the number of shares held as security and resulting number of shares will be released to the borrower.

In doing so, your liability to ECTF on the outstanding loan amount is extinguished.
