    I think that's possible, however I think it merits consideration that Sheffield is now an investor, in Tamboran and almost certainly in other un-named entities. I view TBN as is chosen and preferred operator to return results in the Beetaloo. Lots can go wrong with that, but I don't think it's likely that Sheffield aspires to return to active developer versus his position as equity partner.

    Could the relative interests change for a few additional dollars in Tamboran's pockets, well yes. I think Sheffield has all he wants and needs in terms of having H&P and Liberty in the equation. His interest in other partners is simply a cash rich option to ensure he understands all the acreage as a best means to guide his funds in the Beetaloo. It also serves as a means to be ahead of the game in keeping others out of the basin. I'd look at Santos to exit before Tamboran.

    It's also worth mentioning the patience that the family exuded in the Permian, and entire cycle of shale exploration and development occurred before they really asserted their positon there. Patient.
