The biggest challenge in a small cap is getting a full grasp of the business without getting fearful to sell jump ship or question your investment. IMO id8 is in the early stages of a global roll out PATIENCE is required. I have strong conviction in the technology the product and the problem they are solving. It is very simple the only roadblock is now only one execution. Team is in place, product is in place, execute and the rest will take care of itself. Ultimately that is what you are investing in from here. Nick the founder based on my conversations is an impressive individual. Yes they will need to be mindful of costs and raise more capital but no different to any other scaling businesses. This will become less of an issue as they scale.
One of these reasons is banks and potential clients are slow to adjust pivot in this space. The annoucement with Mastercard is a great endorsement for a company that is slowly building momentum. It wont be a monthly buy now pay later beast overnight. In saying that the opportunity is a large and exciting one. Market cap we are sitting at around $ 23 million blue sky is ahead.
Another point of discussion is thinking let jump out on a big run. Whatever price ID8 runs to this week be mindful of where this company is heading medium term. Any Tier one bank is a potential client with a recurring revenue business model. Each new addition or contract is cream on normally 3 to 5 year deals. Yes the business has longer lead times than most businesses. But once signed we are talking long term deals. More deals builds confidence and reputation to new potential clients. A domino effect and Identitii is on the cusp of that in the coming 12 months.
Where we go to from here, IMO 30 to 40 range seems fair at present progress. Look forward to the ride to $ 1 dollar it may be a rollercoaster at times enjoy the ride.
