....this is why the Chinese EV can churn out EVs at a super fast rate, fixed set up costs mean they just have to produce regardless of demand. They just need to sit out there until someone buys it.
....how is China EV growth worked out? Number produced or number sold? The first could be a lot higher than the latter.
This is how BYD’s new pickup truck is manufactured. Notice there are no humans in the video. US politicians haven’t even considered highly automated factories as a reason Chinese EVs are so much better and cheaper than what is available in the US, because they are so blindly anti-China and so obsessed with creating/protecting jobs. These Chinese EVs aren’t a result of subsidies, but rather a product of years of innovation and intense competition in China. US politicians are trying to stymie innovation and competition.
