And as everyone gets excited about $TSLA having to license Baidu’s software in China, the out year estimate cuts keep happening. Over the weekend ISI cut their 2027(!) Adjusted EPS estimate to $4.50-5.00. The Street is currently at $6.00.

...the excitement over EV/Lithium probably won't last just like the last round when lithium price perked up momentarily.
...the only hope is if we really get a soft landing.
....EV makers have to cut prices to boost demand, which implies unsustainable demand. There is only so much more they can cut, and if they can cut, lithium price can be much higher. But when job losses accelerate in the quarters ahead, it will be game over.
....anecdotal evidence is there that US demand for EV is decelerating, which beckons Elon Musk to run to China to try to save its dwindling market share there and create some excitement. We've seen this before. But Tesla and lithium cult won't ever give up. Despite giving away all their early gains.
