Funny thing is it was predicted, in a fashion, by the board. I remember having a conversation with a director when they hit the 120 metre ore zone at PB west. Kalenn very excited by that 120 metre strike and the director telling me it was only the 20 or 30 metres at 3% copper that would ride through any cycles and it was that zone the board based decisions on. So maybe not exactly a prediction but definitely a signal that the board is well experienced through various cycles and will position AVB as best they can for that ride.

PS The idea that some have suggested that they'd just be sitting on their hands because of low prices beggars belief. Though we may not find out what they've been doing until further down the track.

I don't recall anyone saying that they are sitting on their hands. So a cry of "beggars belief" beggars belief.

However a winding back of the promised exploration is a fact. The obvious conclusion (not fact) is that AVB are battering down the hatches in this current climate. If you believe or know of another explanation please reveal.

We're over 50% through construction, spare contingency money, so why not spend on exploration?
