Yes, as a director, you will invariably have access to information which is not in the public domain. In a publicly listed company, if you had acted on it to make a personal gain (at the expense of those who do not know), it's called insider trading. Not saying that this is the case here, but my point is that there were earlier proposals made by Albermarle to LTR, which (substantially) valued LTR higher than the prevailing share price at the time. Surely, that is material and needed to be announced to the market.
