I think David Walsh & Ranogajec tried to buy Tote Tasmania a long time ago - not sure if it happened though ?
It's funny Tasmania such a small place off the Australian coast yet the home turf of some of the biggest punters on the planet. Pretty sure Ranogajec has long been speculated as the biggest punter in the world and his bets on TAB alone account for a significant amount of their turnover + his company office is same building but a few floors above TAB lol - that's just Australia he's betting all over the world. In terms of Adelaide you may be right pretty sure there are some of that syndicate in Adelaide "Bank Roll" I think ? details are all very elusive as they would be but i'm pretty sure one or two live there.
