    Relax max-I wasnt refering to you when mentioning the morons, more the likes of the resident troll Steve...

    In regards to knowing your risks before entering a trade-Id beg to differ. Even with significant insider trading there is still always unforeseen events that can smash a SP in the blink of an eye-this doesnt happen with property. Liquidity-yes thats great but you have to take what the market rate is that very day, which can easily swing a few percent by day/week/month. Property is much more stable-heck the median price changes .04% and the bears here get all giddy.

    As for people with mortgage problems-Id hazard to say far far mor people have lost money on the stock market than in property. Plus I can take out income insurance etc to protect myself-can you do that with stock?
