You are right OOO, the mind boggles and Cairn have now added the extra area as having prospective "exploration potential". Unlike all the other prospects though we haven't been given any "risking" for this, the only clue being in the RISC 3c being upped to 970mb (was that the exact number?). That's P10, so anything beyond that we have to assume is, at the moment, assigned a lower probability than that. The market concurs apparently.
To the north, all will depend on the lower Bel section, and if that comes in and the extended field has real credibility in the JV's eyes, I don't know why they don't just bung in our free well (if we have it) in the middle distance of the extended area to the north and settle the matter (or to the south if it doesn't).
