So ridiculous to have so much of our national income depending on coal, iron, gas, agriculture etc

these are third world industries

we back this up by building houses for a completely fake internal ponzy housing scheme

how about some higher tech - developed technologies etc.

and, forget the dirty manufacturing --- invent, develop, innovate - licence the hell out of things and get the royalties --- it's actually what we are good at - and, the very thing we cut the roots out from - education, research and development

There is also the fact that we don't "value add"

We are just a hole in the ground for foreign Multi Nationals which give us a pittance for our, yours and mine, assets

Also our assets for the greater part are not renewable, once gone they are gone
