Dear Tau, You should be careful. Why not use a walking stick outside or if you are feeling a bit wobbly. It is nothing to be ashamed of. My Dad was so stubborn, he fell over several times crossing the road and fell of the bus, for heavens sake. He would have been about your age, but eventually I persuaded him to use a stick and he had no more falls.
I am actually using a rollator in the house, because my panic attacks have made me almost bedridden, I walked 1000 steps this afternoon and felt so much better afterwards.
