Yes a delay may suit the timing of the copper price but we still have some 6 months to 9 months (best timelines) to build the mine and as every month goes by our cash in the bank gets less. The current infill drilling on PB and overheads will be chewing into our bank account at a rapid rate.
I'd rather see the mine built first and then decide whether to stockpile or ship.
The rough calculations still show a good profit even with copper at $2.50 per Lb. That makes sense as we are a new mine with high copper percentages and shallow depth to start with. Older mines will struggle at a price below $2.50.
So a low copper price may assist AVB if some of the competition drops away and of course a higher copper price would be good too.
My guess is that our management would be more focused on getting Stage 1 up and running than the current copper price.
The odds of deliberately delaying the finance for a better copper price are slim, IMO.
