I educate first home buyers on the process from start to finish on a daily basis so they are fully informed. This is something your typical bank employee can not and will not do. I have rescued many from being screwed over by poor service.
Do you really think "leverage" is going to get that deal overturned? No sure why you are laughing? How many first home buyers do you think NAB sees on a daily basis? Just because they have 10% deposit doesn't make them a good risk. Banks can pick and choose who they want to take on in hot markets. They are not exactly going around cap in hand begging for peoples home loan business these days. Having said that they will probably roll over and refund this guys deposit because they don't want to spend any more time than necessary on A Current Affair.
