I meant leverage from you as a broker, with your loan book. No one cares about the individual customer, especially the typical first home buyer.
But we have already established that you are minnow, and the bank is not going to bend over to maintain a good relationship with a dinky bottom-feeder broker.
It is disappointing to learn that there is nothing you could do for your client if the bank screwed your client over. Basically, the young fella would be in the same situation as he is right now if you had organised the loan.
Also, from your post it seems that you target first home buyers. Is that correct? You don't get repeat business? No loans for serial property investors? I guess it is harder for you to bamboozle them with bullshit.
