I noticed it was developed using tech provided by China-headquartered equipment manufacturer Maxwell Technologies. To me that means the technical advantage of this panel design will be short lived. I just can't see the Australian government Solar Sunshot program meeting any timelines or budget constraints. By the time the private consultants, lobby groups, and elites have taken their chunk of the $1B there will be bugger all left for companies like Sundive. If or when a panel is produced here, some overseas venture capitalist will come along and merge it into an overseas owned, govmnt subsidised, tax payer funded, drain on the budget anyway. Should be a good stepping stone for the pollies involved into a directorship though. I'm a pessimist you say? I just look at the runs on the board. Left and right here and everywhere in the west are same same. We need a govmnt for the people, not the corps or the politicians pension funds.
