    Yes, this is the opening context of the story not a separate thing.
    Then it describes what Abraham saw in detail.
    During the conversation about Sarah it is clear that the Lord is being addressed and also saying how He will return in a year.

    When they are leaving, Abraham stands in front of The Lord whilst the other men depart for Sodom.
    Then immediately in Ch 19 2 angels meet with Lot.

    If there were 3 men that left for Sodom what happened to the missing 3rd "man" ?
    Why do you insist on 3 separate men and The Lord ? What difference does it make.

    Don't answer that. It's because once you get an idea in your head ... that's it !!
