Here is something technical that shouldn’t hurt FMG prospects today.
After lower than expected US CPI for April the DOW had a strong night, surged a few minutes before the close, eased right at the close but still managed a new all time high (+4 points).
The S&P closed just shy of an ATH (-4 points).
The Nas also closed just shy of an ATH (-8 points).
The DOW had an advance/decline ratio of 0.73 and the top 5 components (Salesforce, Home Depot, Amgen, Goldman Sachs and Microsoft) added about +274 of the +350 DOW points.
