OK mjp i said i will post up and i will. But it will not happen tonight.
So to clarify i have stated the following. I will put in point form.
1. A +PDO change that was in sync with the AMO and Meridianonal change.
2. A huge exceptional increase in sunspots for which in the early part of the century for which the oceans absorbed. much more work is required but there are links that their is indirect forcings involved with sunspots.
3. A positive PDO phase commencing in the mid 70's.
4. As mentioned in previous posts i have always mentioned the double whammy of Atlantic and pacific getting in unison has not helped global temps.
