the point I want to make is that the university system had been forced into these changes which has reduced the places for domestic students, made universities over-crowded and damaged amenity, increased the costs on all students to a ludicrous degree making Aus university coursework uncompetitive, allowed foreign "students" to rort the system and advantaged the Chinese "secret police" to control Chinese students.

the funds that might be missed from foreign students spending in Aus is a moot figure as it is based on student spending. it cannot be an accurate figure as it involves translation of data rather than real numbers. its approximate. so very hard to realise the actual cost in these terms don't you think?

there is also a significant matter of how the Lib Govts arrived at many figures. politicians with a vested interest in popular support tend to lie or distort, and the Morrison mob were shown repeatedly to be remarkable for their dishonesty and secrecy.

All university courses should only be allowed to take a maximum of 25% international students per course.
Double the fees for all international students to help bridge any funding gap.
