Hydrogen is a dead end... brittle metal, no infrastructure, leaky storage, inefficient generation... forget this fool's hope for cars. It's got very limited use cases.
BEV's with current tech are sufficient. Solid state batteries use more raw resources, haven't left the lab and aren't needed for EV acceptance anyway.
The grid is just fine. EV's mostly charge at night, making electricity consumption more even and therefore generation is more efficient. Renewables help a lot, but will need loads more storage to support them. More likely is we will develop some micro-grid infrastructure. Local area generation, balancing and storage. A bit of nuclear would be welcome baseload though.
EV adoption hasn't slowed. There's a false blip caused by high interest rates and beaten up by FUD media. Many legacy brand EV's may be slow sellers, but that's because their dealers are not pushing them. Tesla doesn't have this problem and the BYD, Kia, Xpeng, etc are also selling well.
Battery life is no issue. Batteries with proper management (as in Tesla) will far outlast the suspension and upholstery of any car. And when their capacity does eventually drop to below practical range, after some thousands of cycles, they will be recycled for the valuable metals
