Small numbers of law-abiding, out-of-the-mainstream groups can be digested.
In the United States, the Mormons, the Amish, the Orthodox Jews and other ethnic an religious groups are accommodated that do not want to fully assimilate...that is OK. Even muslims; and in many cities around the US, the existence of Chinatowns and Little Italys does not seem to be a problem.

The issue is balance. This is a subjective issue but the decisions on terms of the degree and type of immigration should remain in the hands of the citizens, not a globalist organization in Belgium or Switzerland or New York; and it should not be determined by someone's abstract philosophy, or some university professor's political or moral opinion.

A country that has no sensible immigration policy of its own control is not a sovereign country for long.

Same with the money. If a country does not control its own currency, it has surrendered its sovereign right to rule itself.
Tha's another reason I am repulsed by the EU. The citizens gave up their country without realizing it.
