Across western democracies, battle lines seem to be forming between two camps.

    - On one side we have a (Nationalist)-(Capitalist)-(Classical Liberal) camp.

    - On the other side we have a (Globalist)-(Socialist / Social Democrat)-(Social Justice) camp.

Broadly speaking the first camp is centered around Freedom - a free nation, a free economy, and free speech/thought/conduct + natural justice.

Broadly speaking the second camp is centered around Control - supranational bodies, a regulated economy, and restricted speech / thought /conduct + social justice.

By contrast both Australian major political parties are still stuck on emphasizing the Capitalist -Socialist battle without taking firm positions on the other axes.  This is causing members to become disenfranchised and sheer off to minor parties.

In USA, Trump has embraced the Freedom message.  He is hated by the opposing camp but has 80%+ approval in his camp.  Contrast with Ozzy politics where both Liberal and Labor take a limp wristed approach and trigger minority governments and independents to win.

20th Century = Capitalism vs Socialism (Capitalism won)

21st Century = Freedom vs Control   ........ who will win?
