I think the main issue with this is that economies generally suffer a recession/low growth period once every ten years. There will be one or two of these years where the valuation of 20x PE will drop.
Constant monitoring is required to ensure growth is continuing upward. In the book author uses examples of eBay not growing past 2019 due to Covid-19 where companies like Amazon, Google and Netflix flourished.
Little things to consider. Qualitative measure author uses is whether the company is customer focused or investor focused. Customer focused companies tend to have superior and consistent growth over the long term.
