You spend too much time under the bridge mate, come back into the light. The longer you battle those that live under the bridge the darker things will become. There is no help for them here.
Interestingly I have the same investing strategy as you do now. The only equities I have are gold and gold stocks and the rest is earning cash. I see the Australian Banks as being safe for now so having money with them is quite ok, not very enriching but above inflation and for now safe. Safe until Bail in Comes in and then I will be moving money out of the Banks.
