Hi Guys,
Massive swings on large volumes has everyone scratching their heads about the cause.
This article provides a quick analysis and it looks like the GDXJ rebalancing was indeed the cause. Some interesting points:
(1) GDXJ moving to larger companies from smaller ones
(2) Moving out of Australia - From 16% of fund to 10%
(3) Reducing gold exposure and increasing silver exposure
