Yes, I agree largely with your thoughts here. A squeeze on option holders to dis-incentivize them from converting is quite possible. It will be an interesting few days ahead to see if it works or not. Still around 50 million outstanding with no new notices yet.
What's also very interesting, is that until the time of writing this post, the last 5 days of trading inclusive, has seen ~10M LCLOB options purchased on market and 5M more on the bid right now. So it seems someone is still willing to buy and then convert them? Not costing a lot to buy the options, but if they convert them all, that's $1.6M they are throwing at them.
Should see a bunch of notices over the coming days. Also keeping an eye on the last hour for the OB's.
