Sorry if it's already been posted but:
the US just put a 100% tariff on Chinese imported EVs.
That is huge... That will ultimately reduce EV production by chinese companies and as a result a decent hit to lithium demand.
Lithium spot price and futures taking a big hit already.
Before this has even happened - lithium price is at a level that isn't sustainable to incentivise the future supply needed for years ahead (2030).
Looks like the tough times are about to get tougher, and the good times in the far future are about to get better (catalysing the future lithium deficit).
