Is it China’s fault that the US did not have the foresight to see the opportunity that the switch to renewable energy and electric vehicles would provide?
It is unlike the US not to be at the forefront of any emerging economic trend, so why did they not see this coming?
It may be that they didn’t want it to happen and probably half of the population is still in that mindset.
I would also like to add that Australia has been in exactly the same position.
Which is all a bit strange, as China depends on the raw material from Australia that has allowed them to become so dominant the evolving Industrial Revolution.
I will add, that the US Government subsidising US built electric vehicles to the tune of $7,500 per car doesn’t seem to be a whole lot different than the CCP subsidising Chinese car makers and battery producers.
