For what it is worth, I think the Board and executive have a bias towards keeping NE, and trying to realise its intrinsic value for shareholders. They may look at JV, or other creative options to make this happen. They seem to be comfortable with their current financial situation in regard to Chatree, and want to avoid a fire sale.
Of course, I have no particular insider information, so take my comments as opinion only.
I bought another 5000 at 1.25 today.
