Interestingly, their New York personnel statistics recently showed that stock market brokers have fallen to third in the rankings of their employee numbers.

I remember the days when Goldman Sachs employed more brokers than anybody.

Today, their highest number of employees in NY are computer programmers, writing algorithms and artificial intelligence software, to buy/sell and manipulate the market.

Their second highest number of employees in NY are marketing analysts, who release stories and manipulate the business news media.

Then you have the brokers, who rely on both of the above.

How the world has changed with electronic trading eh!
