They suffer major fomo when a stock goes vertical and get caught in a regretful cycle of thinking about how they could have finally made some meaningful money if they got on it... but they didn't because they can't afford to risk what little they have. So they just stick to ducking in and out of stocks hoping to pay for lunch - which is not really a great way to live. Watching others make life changing money eats them up and only compounds their regret... and the way they deal with it is by trying to incite fear into those that have made that money.
It is a sad reality, but it is the fact. And even more sadly is that sometimes, in anonymous forums like this, smart people who actually know how to make money get scared into giving up their hand early by people who have no money and don't know how to make it. The irony.

Imagine how well they could get on in their investing life if they put a comparable amount of effort into new opportunities in the Market.
A WA1 is out there at least weekly.
Go trawling & find them elsewhere …
