It's the type of market action after the big buy yesterday of a large player with 5% of the company having to announce very soon (IIRC the y have 5 days after reaching 5% to announce Sub holder status).

When they are announced it will appear they want to T/O or some such so price will possibly go higher. The purchaser therefore grabbing any loose shares they can find, before the substantial holder announcement.

We have another big red day on ASX, yet WA1 up $2 and volume still relatively light, they are finding it difficult to shake any shares out of holders and yesterday probably allowed them to gain most of the free shares until much higher (I hope )
