We don’t really need to crack the supply chain for CATL or BYD.
They can simply licence their technology and know-how for production/manufacturing in another country - even mainland USA to comply with foreign entity of concern legislation in IRA.
Win win for them, win win for USA (jobs, manufacturing etc).
Either way - wherever batteries are manufactured - will require an absolute truck load of IRA compliant graphite - win win for Syrah.
