He didnt say uranium is being mined in Tasmania ... he merely said "Tasmanian Uranium" which is technically correct.
Yes, MAK does have three "Tasmanium Uranium" projects: One at Prospect Creek, with historic assay results. The second at Carey Creek which has some lower grade drill results from 2007. And the third at Rossardan, with recent 700ppm assays reported in 2008.
All are light weight, junior exploration targets, but they do contain "uranium" & they are in "Tasmania"
