Like all investors I constantly need to keep an eye on alternative technologies in the electric vehicle space.But when the manager of CATL says solid state batteries at this stage are not commercially viable or safe I tend to think we have a long time before lithium ion batteries and more so lithium ion phosphate are replaced.I will certainly keep an eye on silicone but all I have read suggests up to 10-20% additive to graphite is the limit because of swelling etc.But I am realistic to know things can change quickly
