Quick, let's throw all young people into a stereotype category! That'd be like someone from Gen Y saying that all Baby Boomers had it dead easy buying houses for $40k and raising a family off a single income, only working 40 hours a week and moving into the workforce without a 30-45 thousand dollar debt for a university degree that's compulsory if you want to work in a white collar environment and make anything above minimum wage.

But then of course, we all know that with no exception all young people have no sense of fiscal responsibility and only demand the best of the best, never work hard and then complain that $1million is too much for a house they deem acceptable there's not a single one of them that ever had to bust their backside and pay their own way through, they're all an entire generation of hand-fed layabouts only interested in being, as you so eloquently put it, a brand pig.
