There is no denying that the primary vote of Labor was low, but the Coalition vote did not take up the slack.

Can you see that this is not the big plus coalition supporters are claiming?

Voters were confused but they didn't want to bet on Tony either.

This is why the minor parties' vote was up and the results depended on preferences in many cases.

Further the massive rout that was expected in the western suburbs and in Queensland did not eventuate.

That's a misuse of the term "universally acknowledged". The rest of the world has no idea, let alone the universe.

aorry I missed your genius remarks.

"If she cleared it where was the problem ?"

The problem is that while as acting PM she was able to cleared backlogs of briefs, it is far from optimal for many reasons. Aside from the realities of making the wheels of government run, she shouldn't be just cleaning up after the mess he has made (like women are expected to do).

Also Rudd was on the nose with his failure to make decisions, his abrasive style and many other reasons.

As a happy little constituent who no doubt reads Murdoch press, the realities of how government actually works escapes you.

"And eneogh (sic) with the reluctant assassin.

She climbed over his not quite dead body because the prize she sought was at hand and then she fought tooth and nail to keep it....reluctantlt rofl."

The emotional words you use there are inversely related to the lack of content. You give zero reasons to substantiate your view, just repeating what's in the Murdoch press. is it the Tele or the mirror you read?

"Gillard was and is a dud/incompetent. She was forced to resign from her job at a law firm for the same reasons."

Oh right, so an error of judgement that happened almost 20 years ago should follow her around and destroy all her credibility?

I bet you've made some whoppers in your life. So has Tony Abbott. The question is, how did you deal with it.

Gillard cut the offending bloke out of her life, and got on with it. I don't think you are an expert on what went on at Slater & Gordon, but relying on the Murdoch press to fill you in will keep you in petty slogans and hatred.
