Anyone take year 8 physics subject where a calorimeter test involving a lump of ice made from coal fired electricity and luke warm water pumped to lab taps also via coal fired electricity?

The water and coal fired air conditioned air above cooled rapidly as they swapped energy with the CO2 produced heat soak ice encouraged by water currents of a hand powered CO2 produced glass stirring stick, but eventually the ice disappeared, the water level rose and with no mass inertial resistance of ice, the water and air inside the beaker became biatches to the variability of classroom ambient temps.

The soln, is obviously to ban physics subjects and throw out calorimeters worldwide, thus preventing the science that's causing the problem. I don't know why someone hadn't thought of this already!
