    I've not claimed any expertise in ice dynamics or glacial development - but lay person observation would seem to suggest that about 100m of ice has accumulated since WW2.

    As I said before, maybe there is a good explanation, but I don't know what that answer is (and so it seems neither do you or acorn).

    I did find this graph of temp changes from wiki, showing pretty regular peaks and troughs in Greenland over a long time period:

    Should we panic yet?

    PS. I don't deny climate change, the world has changed a lot over time and there is geological proof of it.
    What i am skeptical about is human caused climate warming - until such time as there is evidence which is not based on emotion.
