Yes it has caused uopward pressure on rents, but the main driver is interest rates. House prices not as much as very few migrants would be buying homes. I'm doing reno's at the moment and the intention is to sell before rates go down too far as house prices may begin to follow when rentals become cheaper. Different areas though will behave differently.
