@logco; Melbourne's essential core pubic infrastructure has been a political can that's been kicked down the road ever since the 1960s. If only we'd set about doing what was needed way back then we'd not have the complex management issues and cost blowouts we see today.
Melbourne already has 5,200,000 people and is on track to reach eight million by the early 2050s.
If we yet again kick the can down the road it'll be a case of rinse and repeat.
