I have been hearing from Michael Pascoe for years. Not to discredit his article as I haven't read it yet. But he is a stooge for the TV network and banks who pay advertising $ like all commercial Network Finance commentators. He should stick to household budgeting advice. There reporting has no depth or substance other than to follow populist economist trends, which tend to be influence by US opinions. Only Alan Kohler on ABC worth listening to. He was down on gold recently in an article at least with some rationale.
