An objective unbiased commentary would not use such language, I suggest. It would just report facts as they are without the use of emotive adjectives.

When I read adjectives such as 'monstrous' in front of trend reversal and 'huge surge' in front of in demand I immediately ask myself what is the motive for such descriptors? This is a very good example of what I think of as manipulation: not buying and selling action but using media to create an aura of immediacy.

A quote take from the linked article would be more noteworthy if it was written:

Sales of American Gold Eagles rose 42.9% over the month of June, selling roughly 35,000 ounces in a one month period, marking a trend reversal for the sale of physical precious metals. This is the best month of sales thus far this year.

Beware, the quote below taken from the article says the same as the above but with a dose of psychological urgency thrown in for good measure - why!

"Sales of American Gold Eagles rose a stunning 42.9% over the month of June, selling roughly 35,000 ounces in a one month period, marking a monstrous trend reversal for the sale of physical precious metals and causing many analysts to take notice.

This huge surge in demand resulted in the best month of sales thus far this year and marked a 100% increase in sales from July 2017."

I'm not suggesting the reported buying is not true and without a plausible reason - I hope it is, I hold gold - it's just I find the language used a red flag.

Manipulation (nearly always down) of gold & silver by central banks & their bankster owners & the US ESF is a fact proven in court & by price observation ... The most obvious is when Wall St & US$ tank & gold & silver priced in US$, lol, get shafted, as in the past few weeks especially. This is to discourage PM buying, dishearten holders & trash PMs as a safe haven asset. It's not rocket science, but it is criminal fraud
