You claim to hold Gold and sell Gold and also hold the belief that it is worthless sounds to me like you are being extremely liberal with the truth!
I very much doubt that the struggling economies you mention would ever hold sufficient Gold to cover their immense debts.
Gold is an excellent store of value and protection of future purchasing power in my opinion and I will continue to hold it as insurance particularly given the current political stewardship of Australia and the World in general.
Being an independent kind of bloke I like to stand on my own two feet and provide for myself; however; I wish you luck in your thoughts of being taken care of by your socialist all caring political masters. The big problem of course with socialism is that eventually despite all the borrowing you eventually run out of other people’s money to spend!
Unfortunately for me; however, is that more Australians think like you do and that just gives me an even stronger resolve to hold physical Gold!
