I think bubble is a fairly elastic term and we all set our own standards. When I think bubble, I think fundamentals thrown out the window and speculators having complete control of the market. Bitcoin, and graphite stocks as two standouts in more recent times. The global industrial captains (miners and users) and authoritative economic commentators over-estimating Chinese growth and driving commodity prices to overbought conditions doesn't cut it for me. 1980, for gold, naturally, is a different story.
