Gold may have lost its energy partly because the Government in Greece didn't get the full majority to govern on its own.Moving in a particular way is much more difficult when you require the agreement of your partner.Think Labour-Greens in Aus.
The Question might be,What is Russia going to offer Greece to either stymie Europe or default and move to the Russia China axis.
Greece has been historically alligned with Russia and the Russians are a tad upset with the Western Elites so maybe the Russians will try and push for default.
If Greece defaults we are likely to see the biggest bond market implosion we have ever witnessed.
If thats the case,the real game will begin

the strong Dow last night.

Remarkable as the US$ strength
must soon feed into export
earnings reports (31.12.14).

The CHF effectively tarnished.
€ = effectively a DEM (Deutsche Mark)
& FRF (French Franc) with heavy
sinkers.
¥ = multiplying.

Just leaves £ (sterling!)
Or
$ (good as gold).

Or 'Au'?
But when?
