Unless you live at the very tip of the Cape York peninsula you can't have not noticed the influx of chinese. They're like rats deserting a sinking ship. In the USA they're buying properties like you wouldn't believe, esp. in places like San Francisco and LA.
Where I live there's letters to the papers every day complaining about 'rich chinese' buying all the properties.
These people are escaping ethnic cleansing, pollution, corruption and an oppressive and dictatorial regime, I've got no problem with them moving here, they work hard, they don't sponge of the ***bermint like my lazy white nephew and they're a small minority of the prison population.
Minor incidents like what's happening in Hong Kong sometimes set off revolutions, and you can bet your ass the tyrants in Peking are keeping their spooks homed in on the situation to prevent it spreading.
I haven't got 1 cent in china, but I've got plenty of USD and US stocks
